Laugh at The Weekly Review of Our Shenanigans Beginning 12-10-18 1

Welcome to the weekly review of our shenanigans beginning 12-10-18.  Let the nonsense begin!

Monday

I love Mondays.  It’s the start of a new week of shenanigans, fresh with no mistakes, and only happy new beginnings.

I sprang right out of bed excited for the day.

My week of shenanigans kicked off with going to the body shop to have my car repaired due to an accident where another driver side-swiped my car.  Since I had to leave my car with the body shop, they put me in a nice little sports car to jet around town for errand-running.  I looked so cute driving that car.

My next stop was my therapist.  We had the best session, and I really learned a lot.  I  took to heart what he encouraged.

My last stop of the day was seeing my registered dietician.  Since I relapsed back into my eating disorder, I’ve been seeing her on a weekly basis.  I know it’s always such a pleasure for her to see me and discuss my eating shenanigans.  She always has the nicest things to say about my progress.

 Tuesday

Today’s occasion was not my favorite.  I had an appointment with my dermatologist.  Because of having a history of skin cancer, I receive twice-yearly full-body skin checks to make sure no new skin cancer has surfaced. With my extremely fair skin, you can never be too careful.

Thursday

I saw my physical therapist regarding my TMJ.  The tightness and pain around my jaw have improved significantly.  He dry needles my facial muscles, which spasm, and then relax, easing my pain.  Despite the uncomfortableness of the needles, I feel really sexy lying on the table with needles mushrooming out of my face.  I think it makes me look younger. Or maybe not?

Thursday

Randy and I had our second therapy session of the week.  It was fairly casual.  We talked, and he analyzed me while we played cards.  Even though I’m a better card player, I kindly let him win at UNO. He’s such a modest and humble winner.

Friday

My best friend Lorraine came over, and we discussed books we like and loaded up our tablets with great reads from Kindle Deals and BookBub.

I tend to be a deep thinker, so I read the heavier, more philosophical books.

And once I start reading a book, I become entrenched in it, spending hours each day pouring over the words and complex ideas.

Saturday

OMG.  My husband Daniel and I went and ran errands at Macy’s and Costco, and it was maddening. Everyone was out holiday shopping.  It was so difficult navigating through the thick crowds, but I just politely and kindly said, “Excuse me,” and people let me go in front of them.

NO, NO, NO  political statement is made in the above Gif.  It was the only Giphy I could find.  There is absolutely NO political intent.  But it is funny.  Admit it.  You laughed.

Saturday Afternoon

Since Daniel and I both were tired from errands, we came home to rest for a few minutes.  I started working on my blog, and Daniel, well, he was busy closing his eyes along with our dog Maybelline.

As I am captioning this picture, they are both sleeping as they were on Saturday.

Thus ends our week-in-review regarding our shenanigans.  There’s always some craziness going on in our lives, and, if you can’t laugh at it, what else can you do?

I leave you with deep admiration, respect, and all my feels.
