Welcome to the show. It’s always shenanigans and antics when it comes to our life, and we like to laugh at ourselves, so let’s get started reading our compilation of this week’s events and describing them using Giphys.
Let the good times begin!
(Hmm. How did that Giphy get in here?)
Monday’s Shenanigans
Monday started by me uploading the following video regarding an unfortunate encounter I had with another shopper at a discount clothing store. I share in the following video how the experience impacted me and what an encounter like that means for you. Just click the play button if you want to know the juicy details.
This was only the fourth or fifth video that I’ve uploaded, and I’m amazed at how my technical skills are growing and building as I try new things with my blog and the brand Missing In Sight.
I think I could start showing other bloggers on how to achieve the same fantastic results as I am.
Monday also came and went with a great deal of rain. I love hearing the rain announcing itself against my back porch. I love how peaceful the rain is, so I decided to take a nice, quiet nap.
An outdoor nap . . . while wearing a black dress . . . and waving my hands in the air.
Doesn’t sound like a nap to you?
Okay, okay. I wasn’t napping. I was really dancing in the rain. It’ll be our little secret.
Tuesday’s Shenanigans
Tuesday was New Year’s Day, and my husband Daniel was home from work, which meant I needed to leave the house pronto. So I went and treated myself to a pedicure and foot massage. I might have been a little relaxed.
I also thought that taking my dog Maybelline for a walk would be a good idea, but she acted like she didn’t want to go.
We went anyway, and, when we returned home, Daniel was folding my laundry.
Yeah, I think I’ll be folding my own laundry from here on.
I was feeling a little tired, but I decided to clean the floors and wash the dishes. Even tired, it was amazing how much I accomplished, and the floors had never looked so good.
Wednesday’s Shenanigans
My friend Lorraine and I went to Michael’s Arts and Crafts store to pick up some yarn so I could crochet a scarf.
I chose some yarn that had beautiful shades of lavender and purple and as soon as I came home I started to crochet a scarf. Even I was surprised at how well this one turned out.
I can’t wait to see the face of the person I am gifting it to.
Thursday’s Shenanigans
Thursday found me feeling awfully sick to my stomach. By the afternoon, I started feeling slightly better, so Daniel played card games with me to pass the time..
I find it suspicious how he wins all the games we play, but I wouldn’t even start to think he’d cheat at a game. I just trust him so much.
Friday’s Shenanigans
Lorraine and I went to the Michael Kors outlet to purchase her a handbag. They were having an amazing sale on top of their already affordable prices, so she didn’t have any trouble finding a handbag that was perfect for her.
While we were still out running errands, I returned my Keurig to Costco. I thought it was a high-quality item, but for some unknown reason, it stopped working for me.
To cap off my day, I went to the doctor to have some medical tests run.
My regular doctor was out due to a death, so another doctor attended to me. I wasn’t feeling settled about seeing a different doctor, especially the way he came in and greeted me.
I guess he could tell I was taken aback by his greeting, so he offered me something to calm my nerves.
Ummm, all I could say was:
Saturday’s Shenanigans
Daniel and I got into a disagreement, but it’s always good to work through it with good communication.
It’s also important to find common ground and acknowledge something you agree on.
Affection and touching are also important in a relationship.
I apologized to Daniel for hurting him.
I hate causing him pain, and I was really upset that I did.
Everything ended well between us, and we are happy as ever.
Thus ends another fabulous week-in-review. Take a look at last week’s review right here to stay caught up on our crazy antics and to keep the laughter rolling.
Take care.
Love, Becca
